Breakfast with Jesus | John 21:12 | Walking with Jesus — Volume 1: Saved & Loved

A gentle Bible meditation inviting children and families to pause, reflect on Jesus’ words, and walk closely with Him.

A Still Moment — Only One Life Story

This Still Moment invites children and families to reflect on the quiet morning when the risen Jesus prepared breakfast for His disciples by the sea in John 21:12.

Through quiet reflection and guided imagery, young hearts are gently reminded that Jesus not only calls us to follow Him, but also welcomes us to rest in His presence, receive His care, and share simple moments of fellowship with Him.

Bible Verse Meditation

Scripture Focus — John 21:12 (KJV)

“Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine.
And none of the disciples durst ask Him, Who art Thou? knowing that it was the Lord.”

Entering the Still Moment

Welcome to Still Moments: Bible Verse Meditation
a quiet place to pause, breathe, and step inside God’s living Word.

Here we do not simply read the Bible.
We walk where Jesus walks.
We listen as He speaks.
We let His love draw near.

This journey continues in Walking with Jesus — Volume 1: Saved & Loved,
a collection of still moments that follow His footsteps through stories of grace, faith, and friendship.

Take a soft breath in … and let it go slowly.
Let your thoughts grow quiet.
Let your heart become still.

Now enter this Still Moment —
and step quietly onto the shoreline,
where a small fire is burning
and Jesus gently says,

“Come and dine.”

Meditation Reflection

The disciples had spent the night fishing.

The water was quiet.
The morning was just beginning.

When they came to shore, they saw something unexpected.

A small fire.
Bread.
Fish.

And Jesus waiting for them.

He did not begin with questions.
He did not begin with correction.

He simply said,

“Come and dine.”

Sometimes we imagine that following Jesus is always about doing more.

But moments like this remind us of something deeper.

Jesus invites us to sit with Him.
To rest in His presence.
To receive what He has prepared.

The One who called the disciples to follow Him
also welcomed them to the fire.

Where might Jesus be inviting you today
to pause, sit, and simply be with Him?
