Bible Story Meditation

Scripture Focus — Matthew 28:6 (KJV)

“He is not here: for He is risen, as He said.”

Entering the Still Moment

Take a slow breath in.
And gently let it out.

Imagine the first light of morning spreading across the sky above Jerusalem. The air is cool, and birds begin to sing as a new day quietly awakens.

You walk along a narrow path with the women who loved Jesus. Their arms carry jars of perfume, and their hearts carry sorrow.

They are going to the tomb.

But this morning will not unfold the way they expect.

Meditation Reflection

When the women arrive at the tomb, something astonishing has already happened.

The heavy stone is rolled away.

The place where Jesus had been laid is empty.

Then a joyful message breaks the silence:

“He is not here, for He is risen.”

In that moment, everything changes.

The sorrow of the night gives way to the light of hope. The story that seemed finished is only beginning.

Jesus is alive.

And because He lives, His love continues to reach every heart that trusts Him.

The resurrection reminds us that God can bring life out of the darkest moments. Even when situations seem final or hopeless, His power is greater than fear, loss, or death.

How does the truth that Jesus is alive fill your heart with hope today?
