A Still Moment — Only One Life Story

In this Still Moment, the fire on Mount Carmel has faded, but Elijah continues to trust God’s promise. Though the sky is still empty, he listens with faith, prays with persistence, and waits until heaven responds with rain.

Entering the Still Moment

Take a slow breath in…
and gently let it out.

The mountain is quiet again.

The fire has passed.
The sky remains empty.

Yet something unseen is already moving.

Meditation Reflection

After the fire fell on Mount Carmel, Elijah did not stop trusting God.

Even when the sky showed no sign of rain, he believed God’s promise and continued in prayer.

Again and again, his servant looked toward the sea — and still saw nothing.

But Elijah did not give up.

At last, a small cloud appeared, and soon the sky broke open with rain.

This moment reminds us that faith does not depend on what we see right away.

God is working even when nothing seems to be happening.

Where might God be inviting you to keep trusting and praying today?
